Wisnewski Beauty
Origins
Lisa Rose Wisnewski knew from a young age that she was destined for more than the confines of the Polish community in Northeastern Pennsylvania provided. She had her sights set on breaking the mold, creating something new, exciting, innovative and imaginative.
Even as a young child, she traveled to eclectic and energizing cities—first Philadelphia, then Brooklyn, and, soon enough, bustling destinations that expanded across the United States. She was initially interested in a more traditional career and excelled in museum curation before turning her talents towards the security investments industry for nearly 10 years. Realizing she wanted to contribute more, Wisnewski set out on her true path of self-actualization; a journey that continues to this day.
Early one morning, well before the sun had even risen, an idea came to her. For years she had been using a toothbrush to do her eyebrows in the best way she knew how but couldn’t understand why she had to relegate to a product designed for dental care. The initial concept for a more specialized tool, the No. 9 Brow Brush, was born.
After months of experimentation with handles, bristles, and brows, she created a patented and patent-pending product that enhances the experience of everyday beauty. In a car full of boxes, she moved to Los Angeles with "the 9th” prototype of her Brow Brush that she had designed in her Colorado garage.
Inspired by the unusual design and palpable practicality of the device, along with the dire need in the industry for a brow tool of this nature, professionals all over the Los Angeles beauty scene as well as successful entrepreneurs flocked to join Wisnewski. Before she knew it, she had a broad range of competent professionals on her side with a collective experience of more than 90 years in the industry working with brands like Kevyn Aucoin, MAC, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Merle Norman, and many others.
After years of endless perseverance, hard work and collective collaboration, Wisnewski Beauty came to fruition and is now positioned to be a frontrunner in the beauty industry for both innovation and patented tools.
Partners
Virginia Pereira is the kind of professional who can see potential in even the smallest idea or concept. Beauty and fashion runs through her blood and has been a part of her DNA since she was a young child. At the tender age of 12, she started modeling in her hometown of Houston before taking the reins at a boutique in one of the city’s most prestigious and prosperous districts, River Oaks. Seeding confidence and a sense of self in young women became her passion and expanding her company’s brand became her mission.
Years later, she became Partner, CEO and Brand Director of Satine Showroom, one of Los Angeles’ elite. There, she advanced their notoriety and footprint within the industry, fully immersed herself in design, manufacturing and operations and elevated such emerging brands (at the time) as Rebecca Minkoff, Sass & Bide and D. L. & Co., among others.
Pereira is thrilled to be joining forces with the creative minds at Wisnewski Beauty as Partner and COO. Her goal is to expand the company’s footprint across the world, building a brand that goes far beyond beauty and sharing the innovation that is the very first brush designed specifically for brows.
